Previously if any user tried to join a virtual meeting too early, they simply received a popup message telling them that it was too early to join the meeting. Now the popup screen messages include variables that customers can add to inform the user about the allowable time to join the meetings, as shown below.

CONFIG: all of the existing, standard-level screen messages for “Video Call Not Available” (entity specific) have been updated to read: “You cannot join the meeting yet. You can join up to {lengthoftime} before the scheduled start time, which is {dateandtime}.” Schools that have customized these messages have NOT been updated. See attached spreadsheet for a complete list of schools that might need to be manually updated.

NOTE: HTML formatting in these screen messages will now be ignored because the messages are now displayed via a client-side “alert” instead of a modal, so it cannot contain multi-line data or certain special characters.
